On Saturday, September 8 we will be serving lunch to 400 participants in the Chicago Hunger Walk. Each year the Greater Chicago Food Depository hosts the hunger walk to raise money for pantries and fresh food programs. Our partner organization, Breakthrough Urban Ministries, organizes hundreds of walkers to raise money for their Fresh Pantry. We support the event by serving up lunch for all of the walkers.
