2nd Sunday of Advent: Stories
December 4th is the second Sunday of Advent. In this service we will use story to prepare us for the coming Christ. The second week of Advent moves us from aimless wandering in the desert towards Bethlehem where Christ the king will be born. Hope and love are born at Christmas. Stories of grief and hope will help us recognize that things are not as they should be, but through the coming of Christ at Christmas and His life among us, we can have a confidence that God's kingdom is among us.
